Is Edward Snowden sick of the snow and Russia and ready for some sunshine? The infamous National Security Agency (NSA) whistleblower has written an “open letter to the people of Brazil” offering to help Brazil’s government investigate allegations of U.S. spying, but only if he is granted permanent political asylum. “I’ve expressed my willingness to assist where it’s appropriate and legal, but, unfortunately, the U.S. government has been working hard to limit my ability to do so,” the letter says. So this happened. A Pennsylvania couple spent the past month in jail on drug charges after police found what appeared to be bricks of cocaine in their trunk after they were pulled over for speeding.
