Did you expect Rihanna to close out the year without one more epic move?
The songstress announced that she is now the face of Balmain the best way she knows how: by revealing two campaign images on her Instagram page. She posted the photos with captions that read:

The news of Rihanna’s endeavor comes just a week after it was announced that Kristen Stewart is the new face of Chanel, a spot we were sure was slated for Rihanna. But, in a bout of role reversal (Kristen spent a significant amount of time clad in Balmain since 2011) Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing tapped RiRi’s edge to be the face of his newest collection.
Rihanna’s bad gal image, impeccable style versatility and Balmain’s unique flair are sure to be a match made in high fashion heaven. The forthcoming Spring/Summer 2014 campaign is due to appear in magazines from January.
