Though people have criticized her for not being charitable, both Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were feeling the Christmas spirit in Chicago this week.
The latest stop on the Yeezus tour brought KimYe to Yeezy’s hometown for a few days. When ‘Ye wasn’t performing, he was showing Kimmy K his old stomping grounds. The couple decided to grab a bite to eat at the famous Giordano’s Pizza and chop it up with fans, as well as the staff.
“When their pizza was ready, they shared with their Giordano’s server how much they loved the pizza and offered to take a photo with the staff when they were done,” a source told Radar Online.
“When Kanye went to pose, Kim got a phone call and stepped outside to take it near their car. Kanye called after Kim but she was out of earshot and he just took the photo solo and thanked everyone on his way out the door, then the couple drove off.”
Realizing the error of her ways, Kim surprised everyone in the restaurant by asking the driver to turn the car around and return to the pizza place.
“More than 10 minutes later, much to her surprise, the Giordano’s hostess looked up and saw Kim back in the restaurant standing among guests waiting for a table. Kim realized that she offered to take a photo and spaced out when she was on her call,” the insider said.
“She asked her driver to turn around and come back so she could apologized to the restaurant. She then posed with the stunned staffers before wishing them all well for the holidays and then duo drove off again in their black SUV.”
Kimmy wasn’t the only one spreading holiday cheer at Giordano’s. Kanye is said to have “left a gracious tip,” according to Radar’s source.
“Everyone who interacted with the couple remarked how incredibly kind they were and how nice it was that Kim came back to take that photo,” the source added.
“Kim really was super sweet and went out of her way to come back. All of the Giordano’s staff raved about her and would be happy to have them both back for deep-dish any time!”
Paparazzi aside, no one could accuse KimYe of not loving their fans.
