Well, we can’t exactly say we read Vogue’s Anna Wintour as being the leader of holiday cheer when it comes to decking the halls to celebrate baby Jesus. But this one actually took us by comical surprise.
While most families have a tree to gather ’round for Christmas celebrations and gifts, that’s simply not how things go in AW’s household. The infamous perfectionist threw out her Christmas tree before the holiday, simply because it was getting too messy. Santa is not going to be pleased with this one!
Anna’s daughter Bee Shaffer posted a photo of a pile of designer bags with a caption that read:
“My mom threw out our tree before Christmas Day because “it was too messy””
But there were still plenty gifts to do the rounds. If you were wondering what a gift from Anna Wintour would be like, here is the answer: “Pjs and downton… AW knows me well!”
They sure taught that Christmas tree a lesson!
