The report from the Newtown, Connecticut school shooting was released this past month, and some more chilling information from the incident which occurred a year ago is being revealed.

Police have investigated the home where Adam Lanza, the Sandy Hook shooter, stayed in, where cards and photographs with chilling evidence were discovered.

One birthday card, which was taken as a piece of evidence, is from Lanza’s father, who writes to him:

‘Adam, Happy Birthday – Send me an email when you want to go hiking or shooting. Love, Dad’

According to CNN, the report concluded that Adam went on a shooting rampage when he believed that his mother loved the students at the Newtown school more than him.

The site reports:

The previous report quoted a witness who said Lanza did not have an emotional connection to his mother but also cited others who told investigators that they thought the young man was close to his mother and only talked to her.

Mostly, Friday’s report offered slight glimpses into the Lanza household.

Nancy Lanza discussed her son’s “disabilities” with a friend the day before her son shot and killed her, 20 first-graders and six staff members at the Newtown school.

Over lunch, Nancy Lanza told the friend she had traveled to New Hampshire for a brief trip as “an experiment to allow Adam to stay at home alone for a few days.”
