Following a Sunday episode of Melissa Harris-Perry’s political commentary show on MSNBC, the beloved host is apologizing for comments made regarding Mitt Romney’s adopted black grandson. “It really sums up the diversity of the Republican party, the RNC. At the convention, they find the one black person,” joked Dean Obeidallah. “One of these things is not like the others, one of these things just isn’t the same,’ said actress Pia Glenn. And though Harris didn’t directly ridicule the baby, Sarah Palin called her comment about a 2040 wedding between Kieran Romney and North West “despicable.” Because, apparently, that’s an insult. So this happened. Viewers in Salt Lake City witnessed quite a scare when KUTV reporter Brooke Graham passed out during a live-shot on cross country skiing. But like the true pro she is, Graham got right back up…and right into work mode. “I am known to faint any time I am in high altitudes and get too cold,” she later explained on her lifestyle blog. “I could feel myself getting light headed and tried to warn the producer that I was sick.” Check out Graham’s fall, above. If you thought last week was the first time Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson ruffled feathers with his opinions, think again. In newly released 2009 footage, the A&E star advises men to marry young girls — as young as 15-years-old. “They got to where they’re getting hard to find, mainly because these boys are waiting ‘til they get to be about 20 years old before they marry ’em,” Robertson said. “Look, you wait ‘til they get to be 20 years old the only picking that’s going to take place is your pocket. You got to marry these girls when they are about 15 or 16. They’ll pick your ducks.” Read the rest of his unsettling comments here…[HuffPost]
