The arctic chill that came with the Polar Vortex ain’t nothing but a thing when it’s time to celebrate with the “GIRLS.” Last night, Lena Dunham celebrated season 3 of the hit HBO show by taking over Jazz at Lincoln Center with a star-studded affair hosted by HBO and The Cinema Society.
The guest list was dazzling, the stars were in attendance, and when Anna Wintour shows up in her full length yet-to-be-released Prada coat, you know you’ve got the right kind of party going. In true-to-NYC fashion, the party replicated the Subway, served up cocktails, and had some of the biggest names on the scene.
As for the GIRLS, Zosia Mamet, Lena Dunham, Allison Williams and Jemima Kirk, they each stayed true to their off-camera aesthetic as Allison played up her classic America’s Sweetheart look in a dress from Christian Dior Complete with a jeweled bun.
Lena continued her efforts to stun on red carpets in a Rochas Spring 2014 silver crystal-embroidered and bonded-silk sleeveless gown.
And Zosia kept her downtown chic look simple in a head-to-toe Saint Laurent look complete with a gold-foiled manicure. Who said nail art was dead?
