You promised that 2014 would be the year you became the best-dressed guy on the block. Whether you spent the holiday giving or receiving, we’re sure you have the itch to spend a few extra coins on a revamp of your wardrobe. With promises of “new me in a new year” flooding social media timelines, the innate desire to make some changes, even if they are slight ones (like becoming a better dressed version of your former self) continues to linger. Allow us to help you guys with that.

We’ve rounded up 4 brands that offer up a little something different from what you’d see at your menswear clothing store of choice. From Bobby Abley’s fresh take on whimsical prints, to Luke Magill’s Trillest collection, we’ve got the roundup for you. Leave all the extremities to the simps, and try something away from the norm.

Check out 4 brands to add a little flair to your wardrobe in 2014, all designed by some young, fresh fly fellas.

Bad Bunch:

Founded in 2009, Bad Bunch represents the high-end streetwear men’s brand the streets were missing. Driven by creativity and inspiration, Bad Bunch bridges the gap between chic off the runway pieces and the edginess of streetwear, playing up dynamic colors that the founders credit with inspiration from the SoHo gallery. The range features jerseys that embody sports – from hockey to basketball – with the true beauty of it being grit meets glory.

LJM Label:

It doesn’t hurt to take style cues from a man who embodies enviable style himself. Luke Magill is the man behind the moniker Trillest, and the hip-hop world is taking note. His Trillest hat first showed up in A$AP Rocky’s “Fuckin Problems” video, followed by Karrueche Tran and NBA star Wilson Chandler rocking the cap, while Chris Brown and Christina Milian favored the brand’s t-shirts. Caps and shirts aside, his showing of the LJM label during New York Fashion Week back in September was a solid exemplification of how to play up a basic monochrome palate with out of the box tailoring.

Bobby Abley:

Bobby Abley is coming down off celebrating his debut MAN season during London Fashion Week, and his cartoonish charm is met with equal parts confusion and acceptance. Bobby brings something new to the table, and sometimes that’s the best first impression to make. His whimsical designs feature everything from an appearance from our favorite Twitter bird’s distant relative, to some BBC reminiscent diamonds, making Bobby Abley a brand for the seasoned well-dresser looking to infuse a little additional flair.

Stampd LA:

If you’re looking for a bit of simplicity with a high-end touch, Stampd LA is known for its basic but thematic street-ready designs. Stampd delivers collections with elements of high fashion for the guy who likes to keep things subtle, classic, yet far from boring.
