Ciara revealed her pregnancy to the world yesterday during an interview with The View, but it seems the “secret” information was actually common knowledge while on tour with her fiance and baby daddy Future.
That means no weed, only good healthy fresh food, and wholesome fun.
TMZ reports:
We’re told Future’s tour contract called for a “clean” backstage environment whenever Ciara traveled with him — no smoking, healthy foods and nothing that could be detrimental to her pregnancy.
Our sources tell us Ciara is about 7 months pregnant. Turns out the tour contract may have been for naught — she only attended two concerts because of horrible morning sickness.
As for the gender of the baby, the couple knows, but Ciara isn’t sharing just yet. However, she is saying that Future is very happy:
“It really is a blessing. It’s the most exciting time in my life. I’m really excited, like a little kid.” In regard to the sex of her firstborn, Ciara admitted, “I did have a preference before I found out what it was…[the result] was different than what I thought, but my fiancé got what he wanted.”
If you follow celebrity pregnancies, then you know mothers like Kim Kardashian and Beyonce wore heels until they were just about to pop, however Ciara doesn’t plan on rocking heels until her due date. She’s all about being comfortable.
“I kind of want to take the theme that ‘baggy is the new sexy.’ I don’t know, I just want to be comfortable. When I can’t wear heels anymore, I won’t wear heels. I’ll be putting on my Jordans. My Jordans and my Uggs will be my best friends, but it’s all about being comfortable.”
“I believe that pregnancy within itself is sexy and I don’t believe I have to show you that I still can be,” she continued. “I kind of like it actually not being about abs and all that stuff. I really love this phase that I’m going through in my life and I just want to live in it. I just want to be a ‘mommy-to-be.'”
