A Florida man made a shocking discovery yesterday, when he found his ex-wife and their two teen children dead after she warned him of her horrific intentions in an email.
According to the Daily Mail, Florida realtor Richard Berman and ex-wife Jennifer Berman were going through a bitter divorce when the mother of 16-year-old Alexander and 15-year-old Jacqueline shot and killed her children and herself early Tuesday morning.
Richard made the discovery after getting an email from his wife threatening to commit the murder-suicide. Richard was on the phone with 911 when he and a neighbor found the bodies in her West Palm Beach home:
“He’s not moving, there’s blood on his ear,” the luxury realtor manages to sputter after finding the body of his 16-year-old son. “I can’t believe this is happening.”
While on the phone with dispatchers, Richard informed them that there rifles in the home belonging to the woman’s father.
A friend spoke out about the shocking incident:
“Going through a divorce, foreclosure, a lot of that stuff which, it’s an upsetting thing when you’re going through a divorce and having to sell the beautiful house in this neighborhood, and it’s just she just seemed like she had been upset lately,” said family friend Brian McManus to reporters. “You can’t fathom, you can’t understand what’s going on in someone’s head for things like that to happen.”
