This is what happy tears are for!
Lt. Col. Cotina Jenkins-Sellers has been away in Kuwait serving for the country for about 8 months, but finally was allowed to return home recently.
To make her return the most special for her 13-year-old son Derrick, she didn’t tell him that she was coming, but instead surprised him.
She created a set-up with Derrick’s school basketball game, where she would creep behind him during his free throw shots after a fake foul.
When Derrick missed the shots, Cotina said “Aw, that’s okay Derrick” to him, and his reaction when he turned around might be the best thing you ever see!
Cue the waterworks!
