It’s been only a few weeks since the tragic death of rapper Doe B., and the music scene is definitely grieving the loss.

The Hustle Gang member was shot outside of a night club in Alabama, along with two other victims.

Head honcho,  T.I. recently spoke with V-103 on his death, and revealed that he plans to keep Doe B.’s legacy alive.

He told the station:

“Doe actually gave me that record. We initially did it. I was holding it for my album. Just the subject matter and just how it felt listening to it after he had passed I felt that it was more appropriate for him for right now,” T.I. said, referring to their “Why” record. “It seemed like he was speaking to us about his situation. I really haven’t heard anything as eerie as that since Machiavelli. You know what I’m saying? So, I felt that it was more than appropriate. And I refuse to let his dream die. I refuse to let his efficacy and his energy go to waste. We’ll continue to march and move forward in productivity in his honor.”

A 25-year-old male recently turned himself in after the shooting, and now another suspect has turned himself over to the authorities since there is still an investigation being done.

Props go out to Tip! We send are prayers and condolences to those dealing with loss and grief of Doe B’s death.

RIP.
