It’s been years since we’ve last seen Outkast perform together, or even release new music together, but their fans’ wishes have been granted.

After announcing their reunion for the 2014 Coachella concert later this year, hip-hop fans went ballistic over the great news.

While we’re hoping for maybe some new music from the duo in the future, REVOLT TV caught up with Big Boi at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah.

They got a chance to ask him about the reunion with Andre 3000, and how they decided to make this year the year to reunite.

Big Boi told the outlet:

“It’s for the fans, you know? Can’t wait to get on stage with my brother 3 Stacks and you know, kill ‘em. It’s a long time to still be doing music at a high caliber, and having fun doing it.”

For fans that won’t be able to make it to Coachella in California, you can also catch them headlining the Governor’s Ball in NYC in the summer time!

We can’t wait for some more southernplayalisticadillacmuzik!
