2014 may just be LeToya Luckett’s year.
Recently, the Single Ladies star hit up The Wendy Williams Show and talked men, sex, and more. Wendy Williams also got the scoop on the current relationship between LeToya and former Destiny’s Child members Beyonce Knowles and Kelly Rowland.
Take a look at the highlights below, and the video above. It’s really funny that LeToya’s had such a hard time switching up her hairstyle, to the point where people call her “Swoop bang gang.”
On her new hairstyle:
“My team had an intervention with me, they really did. I was so comfortable with my swoop bang. They called me ‘Swoop bang gang.’ I’ve been wearing it like this since I was a kid.[…]I knew it was time, I just didn’t know which direction to go in. I didn’t know if I wanted to cut it. I didn’t know if I wanted to color it a different color, but I didn’t know they were going to go for both, though.”
On what Queen Latifah and the Single Ladies crew think of her new look:
“What’s crazy is they didn’t see it until I had to do promo for the show because I didn’t have it during the show. They were like, ‘Hm, this is for the next season. We like.’ I don’t know. I don’t know about the color, it’s not for sure, but…”
On being too picky to date:
“Here’s the deal, Wendy. I’m going to let you guys in on something: I don’t really like to date. I can be very picky, but at the same time, I’m very patient with waiting on God and whoever He has for me. I stay doing things. My career, trying to grow in my career. I think a lot of times as women we feel pressure sometimes from our parents or our friends, seeing our friends get married…”
On the last time she had sex:
“Well, that was personal. Um, it’s been a while? Way too long.[…]Here’s the thing. I see these relationships fall apart…”
On the type of guy she wants:
“I just want a good man that respects me, appreciates me. God-fearing. Understands what I do. Handsome. He don’t have to be tall. He don’t have to have [millions] in the bank but…”
On if she went to Bey’s wedding:
“I was not at her wedding.”
On if she’ll be at Kelly’s wedding:
“You know what? I don’t know. I called her and congratulated her. I’m so happy for her.”
