Could it be that Justin Bieber isn’t a bad boy after all?

Doubt it, but new information regarding the officers who arrested the teen sensation may reveal they embellished the police report. If you recall, Bieber was arrested on Thursday for drag racing and a DUI in Miami.

According to TMZ:

We have now confirmed Justin’s actual blood alcohol level … it was .014 — next to nothing.  Legal intoxication is .08.  Law enforcement sources told TMZ Thursday Bieber had a .04 …  but we’ve now confirmed that is NOT true.  He had a .014 — an enormous difference.

Someone Justin’s size would probably have higher than a .014 with a single beer.  So the question … how could cops say they were overpowered by the smell of alcohol?

According to the police report … the arresting officer was leaning into the car, talking to Justin just after the stop and the cop says, “I immediately smelled an odor of alcohol emanating [sic] from the driver’s breath.”

The police report goes on … Justin was then arrested and taken to a holding facility, where another officer said he smelled “… the odor of an alc bev on his breath.”

For now, all that is hearsay. Now it comes down to the credibility of Bieber’s people against the Miami Police Department.

But there is some movement elsewhere. According to CNN, three Florida police officers have been suspended in connection with allegations that officers escorted the pop star’s caravan in the Miami area without authorization this week.

The city has been investigating reports that Opa-Locka officers escorted Bieber from the city’s airport to Miami strip clubs Monday — the day Bieber arrived in South Florida and three days before the singer would be arrested in Miami Beach on suspicion of drunken driving.

Opa-Locka Deputy City Manager David Chiverton said the three officers would be suspended with pay, pending an investigation.

Chiverton said he didn’t know how the escort arrangement was initiated.

Everything he touches turns to…well, you get the picture. We’ll keep you updated on the latest in the Bieber arrest.
