Michael B. Jordan decided to switch things up and take on the film That Awkward Moment after a pair of heavy movies, one of them being Fruitvale Station. In his latest role he plays Mikey, a doctor who finds out his wife is cheating on him with a guy who looks like Morris Chestnut.

That Awkward Moment is a tale about three friends who find themselves where we’ve all been – at that confusing moment in a casual relationship when you have to decide, “So…where is this going?”

Zac Efron and Miles Teller play the other best friends in this movie, helping make That Awkward Moment an accurate portrayal of young bachelors in New York, while proving that men have emotions too.

The cast of the film sat down with Sr. Entertainment Editor Xilla L. Valentine. After talking about dating and the movie, Xilla asked Michael B. Jordan if he feels snubbed because he didn’t get an Oscar nomination for playing Oscar Grant in the movie Fruitvale Station.

“Nah! You gotta look at the year,” he says. “Just to be in the conversation with those greats, people that I looked up to and admired my entire career. That’s not a loss. I’m happy and excited to be in those conversations.”

Zac chimes in, “Miles and I didn’t even get snubbed. It would have been great to get snubbed.”

That Awkward Moment opens everywhere Friday, January 31st.
