It’s official: Evelyn Lozada and her fiance Carl Crawford are expecting a baby boy!
The 37-year-old expectant mom revealed to People Magazine that she’s always wanted to have a little boy.
“I was about 13 weeks when they told me the sex! I was honestly praying for a boy. I have wanted to have a son for years,” she said.
The news of her baby boy comes soon after Lozada announced her engagement over the holidays to LA Dodger Carl Crawford.
Shaniece, Ev’s 20-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, was right by her mom’s side when she found out about her baby brother. Evelyn added:
“We were both so happy. There are all girls on my side, so this will be our first boy. Every time I go to the doctor, I have them check to make sure it’s a boy. I’m still in disbelief.”
Evelyn also confirmed that she’d be celebrating her baby shower on February 8 in Los Angeles, hosted by her close friend Shaunie O’Neal and her daughter Shaniece.
