Everyone needs advice about their love life every now and then. So thankfully, the happily married La La Anthony has stepped up to the plate to dish out all the advice we need.
The television personality, author and businesswoman hosted a book signing and Q&A event for her new book The Love Playbook at Barnes & Noble in NYC – and GlobalGrind was there to get all the deets.
Carmelo Anthony‘s wife graced the stage alongside BFF Kelly Rowland and discussed some of the main topics from her book, ranging from sex and cheating, to letting your man get a ‘free pass.’
When asked about her ‘Honey Nut Cheerio’ scandal with Kevin Garnett, a giggling La La responded:
“No way! He never said that. And if you read my book I describe in detail the whole situation!”
During the Q&A portion of the event, a fan asked, “I don’t like to be alone very much. How do I get over that feeling of needing to have a man?” Kelly Rowland jumped in and responded:
“The number one rule, you gotta love yourself first!”
La La also revealed that this book is the first time she has opened up publicly about her marriage. She told us:
“This was a real labor of love for me. This is the first time I’m super open about everything including Mel and I’s relationship.”
She added:
“I hope this book shows women that they can overcome obstacles in their love life and be truly happy.”
Celebrities like Charlamagne tha God, Po Johnson and Kevin Lyles were all in attendance to support La La.
