We hate to make you feel old, but Ace Ventura: Pet Detective turns 20 today. The movie was originally released on February 4th, 1994, and it was a strange time for its lead actor.

Jim Carrey was starting to make a name for himself as the white guy on Fox’s sketch comedy show In Living Color and had been in some God awful movies up until then.

He was finally cast as Ace Ventura after Rick Moranis turned down the role and the rest is history. The movie cost $15 million to make and pulled in a huge $107 million at the box office. The timing was just right, because Ace Ventura also starred Courteney Cox… Just so happens Ace Ventura hit theaters right before Friends premiered on TV.

It’s been a long time! But as for the stars of the film, have you ever wondered what they look like now?

Is Lt. Lois Einhorn still hot and tempting; did you know the film starred a Breaking Bad icon? Let’s take a look down memory lane with this “Then and Now” collection of photos featuring your favorite Ace Ventura characters.
