This is a must-listen: NY radio legend Angie Martinez is premiering an unreleased Tupac interview.
As part of her new launch, The Angie Review, Ms. Martinez will broadcast a series of #ThrowbackThursday interviews, starting off with an interview of epic proportions.
During the height of the East Coast-West Coast beef, Angie, just 22 years old at the time, flew to Pac’s apartment in Los Angeles and had a very candid interview.
But why was it never released? “What I got [the interview] was so crazy, that at the time I couldn’t air it on the radio because I was literally afraid that somebody would die,” said the HOT 97 radio personality.
Nearly 20 years later, Angie says this is the right time to finally let people hear the 2-hour long interview. She will also be reviewing the interview and giving her thoughts on what was going through her mind during the talk with the hip-hop icon. Watch above.
