Fox has officially released the cast of the upcoming film The Fantastic Four and well, it couldn’t be more fantastic. (Sorry).
Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell have all been approached to be a part of Marvel’s latest project. Miles will play Mr. Fantastic, Mara has been asked to star as Invisible Woman, Michael will be the Human Torch and Jamie is set to play The Thing. Sources close to the production, however, say none of the actors are officially attached to the film just yet.
The new Fantastic Four is an adaptation of two earlier films, which starred Chris Evans, Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd and Michael Chiklis. Though critics weren’t impressed, both films did well at the box office, grossing $660 million.
As soon as news of the cast broke, Twitter exploded with complaints and disappointment from fans doubting the superhero abilities of the young cast.
We’re not sure why anyone would question Michael B. Jordan…but we’ll wait and see.
