The new year has been filled with collaborations for New York City twins Dee and Ricky. The pair kicked off 2014 embarking on collaborations with Starter, then joined a charity dear to us, Rush Arts, for their Valentine’s Day luncheon and now, they’ve teamed up with The Daily News Project to add another collaborative notch to their well-designed belts.

Brothers Dee and Ricky teamed up with another set of siblings, Toronto-native brothers Guillaume and Alex Viau, who brought in sister models to complete the “No Love” collaboration.

No strangers to the art and fashion industry, Dee and Ricky have worked with brands from Marc Jacobs to Casio, Converse to Joyrich and Pony. And although best known for their colorful LEGO based designs, ‘NO LOVE’ is a monochromatic inspired collection featuring the twins’ signature LEGO heart brooch; alongside a t-shirt, crop-top, and a snapback hat.

Their first and highly anticipated ‘NO LOVE’ collection was released on Valentine’s Day, in collaboration with New York City’s twin design-duo.

“This project is giving us an opportunity to push the boundaries without being confined to our original work. This is part of a continuing creative exploration and we’re excited to test new grounds,” says Guillaume Viau of the collaboration.

Founded in 2014 by Toronto-native brothers Guillaume and Alex Viau to expand their creative horizon, Daily News Project creates street style luxury with an avant-garde outlook – inspired by fashion, art, design, and culture worldwide.

The brothers aim to build Daily News Project into a brand that promotes individuality and craftsmanship with a social and sustainable consciousness, and their collaboration with the twins gets them one step closer to the gold.
