Just a day after the Beyonce-inspired soundbite website, Soundboardt.com, was discovered, the good folks over at BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge release Cali trio Haim’s cover of Beyonce’s controversial song “XO.”
With their instruments in hand, Danielle, Alana, and Este stripped down the Ryan Tedder and The-Dream-produced track to an acoustic ballad. With her bass guitar in hand, Este takes on Beyonce’s vocals as her sisters direct their attention solely on their instruments.
Obviously, Este’s vocals are no match to Beyonce’s, but their cover is filled with pleasant melodies. Watch their cool ass cover in the video up top.
