The benefits you gain in going green can result in a brighter wardrobe.

Check out Toyota’s TGI Ambassador Charisse Bruce from Johnson C. Smith University. The charming student #reolves2solve excess water usage by washing her clothes when she absolutely needs to in cold/warm water cycle.

With 90 percent of water used in the home to heat up washing machines, using warmer water will still wash your garments effectively and save you a lot of money. Many detergents like All, Tide and Purex are cold-based and work just as well as older hot water soaps.

Another tip for washing clothes also applies to drying them. Many people waste hundreds of dollars in energy by over drying their clothes. The average time to dry clothes is between 30-45 minutes. We love warm towels as much as the next person, but using the auto dry feature on your dryer still works for you.
