Marking four years of her “Let’s Move” health campaign, First Lady Michelle Obama is enlisting the help of her famous comedian friends to make a splash.
On the heels of her hilarious focus group discussing healthy eating habits with Will Ferrell, Obama joined Amy Poehler in Miami to announce a new initiative by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the National Recreation and Park Association.
According to NBC Miami:
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the National Recreation and Park Association will serve more fruits and vegetables at after-school programs and ensure that kids get 30-60 minutes of physical activity a day.
But the event wasn’t complete without some mini-golf and a bit of exercise.
Oh, and the funny, brought to you by Poehler herself…who was also a little starstruck.
“This is so fun – Mrs. Obama is standing next to me like she’s my audience and I’m just telling her jokes. This is like a dream.”
