After a very lengthy hiatus, Fast & Furious 7 is finally set to resume production.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, cameras are set to being rolling around April 1 in Atlanta. There is believed to be about six to eight weeks left of production. Filming was halted after the sudden and tragic passing of actor Paul Walker. The studio halted production to allow the actors and crew time to grieve and also give the studio time to rework the script.

Universal Pictures confirmed that Walker will appear in the film, though they’ve had to change his role slightly. They’ve also confirmed Walker’s character will not be killed off, but rather retire according to E!.

Following his death Universal released a statement saying it’s “our responsibility to shut down production on Fast & Furious 7 for a period of time so we can asses all options available to move forward with the franchise.”

At the time of his death, Paul was actively working on the set. Nearly 60 percent of the movie was filmed.

The movie will hit theaters April 10, 2015.

In TV news, Michelle Obama is set to make her Parks and Recreation debut this April!

The Fist Lady will appear in the series’ season six finale, playing none other than herself. The episode will be a special one-hour episode called “Moving Up.”

Mrs. Obama filmed her appearance on the show with the fabulous Amy Poehler in late February when Amy joined her as a part of her “Let’s Move” initiative.

We know FLOTUS style game is on point, but we can’t wait to check out her acting chops!

“Moving Up” airs April 24 at 8 p.m.
