McDonald’s has got to have a record for craziest lawsuits ever!
After having to pay unhappy customers for making their coffee too hot, a man is now suing the franchise because he only received one napkin with his meal.
According to TMZ, Webster Lucas is suing Mickey D’s for $1.5 million after he was only given one napkin with his Quarter Pounder Deluxe, and wasn’t given more when he asked management.
It seems like race might allegedly be an issue here, since Lucas is Black, and when he asked for more napkins, he claims the management uttered something about “you people.”
After the incident, Lucas emailed the manager saying that he was unable to work because of the “undue mental anguish” the incident caused, and was offered free burgers in return, which he declined.
If race was a factor at play here, that’s unfortunate. Really, who cares if a customer wants more napkins?
