Anyone with a brother or sister knows that there is no love like sibling love and Lupita N’yong’o is no different.
Sure, the 12 Years a Slave actress had a big night at the Oscars, but it was her brother who was the real winner. He not only jumped in the best selfie ever taken, he’s the coolest little bro in the world.
While most celebrities opt to bring either their spouse or their parents as dates to award shows, Lupita brought her BFF/brother Peter along as her plus one to the year’s biggest events.
Peter has definitely taken advantage of all the perks during the year of Lupita.
While attending the Independent Spirit Awards earlier this year, Lupita was asked if Peter would be attending any of the after parties, big sister Lupita replied:
“No, he has school tomorrow!”
She shared the above video that her brother made to celebrate her nomination for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for 12 Years a Slave. He even became part of history as the only non-celebrity to be featured in Ellen DeGeneres‘ record breaking all-star selfie.
As much as Lupita has wowed us this awards season, Peter has been alongside his sister throughout the whole ride.
