We didn’t want to pick favorites, but the secret is out: Kelis is our bestie in our head. She’s absolutely the friend we’d want to go with to pick out senior prom dresses. She’s the Romy to our Michelle, and she has a wardrobe from which we wouldn’t mind borrowing a few pieces.
In case you missed it, after overseas domination, Kelis is back Stateside, re-branded and in the midst of a major comeback that includes the release of her album Food, her new cooking show with the Cooking Channel (Kelis is a Cordon Bleu-trained chef) and a new food line that’s rumored to be hitting the supermarket shelves sooner rather than later.
In time for all of the above, The Coveteur got an inside look at Kelis’ L.A. home that features not one, but two massive closets and what she calls a “Woman Cave” that harvests her shoes and a special section for all her “sparkly things.” Oh, and did we mention that she’s the owner of just about every sparkly Miu Miu shoe, like ever? We know how to pick our besties in our head.
