Khloe Kardashian’s got some new digs – sort of.
Months after selling the Tarzana, California mansion she once shared with ex Lamar Odom to Kaley Cuoco, the reality star has found a new bachelorette pad. According to Us Magazine, Khloe has officially purchased Justin Bieber’s Calabasas, California mansion.
The house is located in The Oaks, a gated community in Calabasas. Justin bought the home in 2012. After many unfortunate clashes with his neighbors, including the highly publicized egging scandal, Bieber is said to have put the house on the market.
“The fact that a talented international musician like Mr. Bieber chooses to live in Calabasas is certainly a feather in our cap and a tribute to our safe and beautiful community,” said the city’s mayor, Fred Gaines, in January. “But the peace and privacy of our residents is the city’s top priority. We have unfortunately had a number of breaches of the peace related to Mr. Bieber and his residence, and the sheriff has acted appropriately in addressing those incidents.”
Hopefully Khloe’s a better neighbor than Justin.
Speaking of Kardashian homes, the rest of Khloe’s famous fam is currently caught in the midst of a scandal surrounding the home shown on their reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. It recently came to light that the facade of the home shown in the introduction to their reality show isn’t actually their home at all!
Now, Kim Kardashian is coming to the family’s defense. The 33-year-old held a Mobio Insider Q&A session earlier this week, during which she was asked about the controversy.
“My old home in Beverly Hills was really my home and I would get people showing up at all hours ringing my gate and had to call the police on several occasions,” she said. “People hopping the gate and scaring me.”
“It was so unsafe. The Hollywood star tours would stop by too, because they recognized my home from our show. After that we realized how unsafe it is to show the exterior of our homes.”
The future Mrs. West explained to her fans that she and her family now use different exteriors for “security purposes.”
“When we film inside, that’s obviously our real home,” she said.
Stepping up security may not be a bad idea. Recently, both Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian’s pricey pads were robbed. Khloe was robbed of thousands of dollars of jewelry, while Kourtney lost $50,000 cash.
Authorities believe the break-ins may have been connected and think whoever jacked the jewels and stacks of Kardashian kash is also linked to Lamar’s drug use.
