We’re not ready to see Lil’ Wayne go just yet.
The Young Money founder recently revealed to MTV News that his upcoming project Carter V will be his last solo album, and fans have been wondering what he will do after that.
Well, Wayne sat down with Elliott Wilson yesterday where he talked about retiring from solo artistry and also promised fans a new single this next week!
Weezy also made his way over to Jimmy Kimmel Live! during the SXSW 2014 festivities, during which he told some crazy stories about meeting Willie Nelson, as well as shooting himself with a gun at 14.
One of the best stories he told concerned a crazy fan, who actually shot at him:
I’ve been shot at by a female fan. It was after a show, and she was just a very persistent fan. She wanted a…we actually didn’t know what she wanted, and good thing we didn’t figure it out. Once we finally got on the road the bus driver was like ‘hey, this girl is on the side of us’. and we weren’t paying him no mind. We was all hype and we was dancing. I was standing up in the window and gun shots went off and he was like ‘It was the girl’s! It was the girl’s!’ He start swerving and stuff, so we were more upset at him ’cause we were like ‘you could’ve killed us!’
