Say it ain’t so, Tyler!

Tyler, The Creator was arrested by Austin police today for inciting a riot and allegedly encouraging fans to push past security guards during SXSW 2014 set yesterday. CTVNews reports:

Police say the 23-year-old Los Angeles resident incited a large crowd of fans at the annual music conference and festival to push their way past venue employees controlling access to an at-capacity show more than once during a Thursday performance.

According to Austin police, the Odd Future rapper was booked this afternoon, has been charged with a riot misdemeanor, and is being held on a $3,500 bond.

Tyler’s SXSW 2014 set isn’t the only one that was on the rowdy side, however, as TMZ reports the night before 2 people died because of the commotion.

As you may recall, Tyler’s concert was cancelled the night before — after a driver plowed into a crowd of people waiting to get in — leaving 2 dead and 23 injured.

According to the warrant … a bartender at the facility told police he tried protecting a woman from getting trampled on … but a guy punched him in the face for it.

Tyler’s still in custody on a $3,500 bond.
