Tyler Perry’s The Single Moms Club racked up just under $10 million at the box office over the weekend.

The comedy – starring Cocoa Brown, Zulay Henao, Terry Crews, Amy Smart and Wendi McClendon-Covey – provides a bunch of laughs to get you through parenthood, singledom, whatever.

The film focuses around five women who are brought together after their children get into trouble at school. The women all come from different walks of life, but they form a bond after creating a support group that helps them get through the obstacles of being a single parent.

We caught up with Amy, Wendi, Cocoa and Zulay and discovered that one of them got kicked out of a Waffle House and another got a pair of nose hair clippers for Christmas. Obviously these anecdotes make for a pretty funny interview.
