Miguel and Wale team up once again to remake Sir Elton John’s 1973 classic “Bennie and the Jets.”

In an effort to celebrate the 40th anniversary of his 1973 album Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Elton John will re-release his album next week. The re-release of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road will include a live album, a 100-page illustrated book, a DVD of his 1973 film, and song covers by popular artists like Emeli Sande, Miguel, Wale, Ed Sheeran, and Fall Out Boy.

If the reimagined covers seem a little odd, think again. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Sir Elton discussed how he wanted to incorporate more hip-hop and contemporary pop in future projects. The 66-year-old icon even referenced working with Pharrell on his new album.

Take a listen to Miguel and Wale’s reimagined collaboration below.
