Future hosted a private listening session for his highly anticipated sophomore album Honest yesterday.
During his session, the Atlanta rapper previewed records for industry insiders, including his much-talked about collaboration with Kanye West, “I Won,” and his collaboration with Santigold and DJ Khaled.
Unfortunately for Future, all the collabos he recorded didn’t receive proper clearance, including his song with Nicki Minaj titled “Rockstar.” The record features a sample of George Michael’s “Never Gonna Dance,” and according to the “Move That Dope” rapper, the British singer won’t clear the sample.
In a moment of rebellion, Future instructed industry insiders to record and leak the song for the “internets” to enjoy. Thankfully, our good friend @RealLifeKaz caught the magic on his phone.
Honest is scheduled to hit store shelves April 22, and will feature guest appearances by Kanye West, Andre 3000, Pusha T, Santigold, Pharrell, and many more. Take a listen to Future and Nicki’s new collab up top.
