R&B singer Sevyn Streeter wants that ol’ thing back and is destined to figure out if a relationship do-over is the brightest idea in her latest video, “nEXt,” featuring Kid Ink.
Inspired by Gabrielle Union in the BET hit show Being Mary Jane, Sevyn is a news reporter dealing with the ups and downs of a relationship while trying to maintain her journalistic career. Kid Ink plays Sevyn’s ex and nEXt, breaking up with the “It Won’t Stop” songstress right before she has to go live on the air. In true Mary Jane fashion, Sevyn tries to move on with a very handsome man, but ends up running back to the “Show Me” rapper.
“nEXt” is off Sevyn’s debut EP entitled Call Me Crazy, But... available for download now.
