A teenager who was struck by a drunk driver at Austin’s South by Southwest festival has died, bringing the death toll from the tragic crash to four, according to police. DeAndre Tatum, 18, was among the dozens struck in the March 13 collision. He had been listed in critical condition but died from injuries he sustained in the crash. Tatum’s girlfriend, Curtisha Davis, 19, suffered critical injuries as well, but was released from the hospital on March 18. Two people hit by the driver — Jamie West, 27, and Steven Craenmehr, 35 — died the day of the crash. A third person, Sandy Le, 26, died from her injuries on March 17. Read about it here…[NBC]
The murder trial of Oscar Pistorius was adjourned on Friday until April 7 due to the illness of one of the legal assistants of Judge Thokozile Masipa.
