The 2009 case sparked controversy after his ex-wife filled a lawsuit accusing Richards of assaulting his son and daughter from 2005-2007. Richards is the great-grandson of du Pont family patriarch Irenee du Pont, a chemical baron. He is currently unemployed and living off his trust fund. Talk about a case of “affluenza.” [Huff Post]
