Sex sells, but this? We aren’t exactly sure what this is doing…
No, it isn’t an advertisement created to remind ladies to get their annual women’s wellness exam. It’s a shot from Vice magazine’s latest fashion editorial, aptly titled “Do Me, Doctor.” What’s so fashionable about women’s least favorite pastime? Absolutely nothing, yet Vice attempted to get us to think otherwise.
So can you guess what exactly Vice is trying to sell us here? That “pelvis” top on the arm of the doctor prepping a model for a pap smear. Yeah. We’re not sold either.
The spread, shot by Gibson Fox, shows more cringe-worthy moments of models in compromising positions, but it wouldn’t be a fashion editorial without the product placement of things like a small Prada bag in front of a model’s crotch, or a Soot dress accessorized with POMS earrings and a respirator.
