Remember when Snoop Dogg blew everyone’s minds by bringing out Tupac during his Coachella performance two years ago? Ever since then, people have been trying to recreate that epic moment.

But two of the world’s biggest stars are taking it to the next level. To celebrate the Audi A3 launch, M.I.A. and Janelle Monae will perform together, but from opposite sides of the country. The “Paper Planes” rapper will perform live in New York City, with the CoverGirl/“What Is Love” singer in L.A. via a bicoastal performance and holographic technology. According to the event’s press information:

“This will be the first hologram performance with integrated video mapping and will use 3D projection mapping to add layered depth of field perception with animated graphic content to create an illusion as if they are on the same stage at the same time.”

The two ladies are known for having explosive performances and signature electric music, so their collab is sure to be a massive hit.

Unfortunately the show is a private event, so check back for footage of the performance here!
