As a celebrity, part of your duty is to give back to the people who buy your albums, stand in line for your concert tickets, and attack anyone who says a bad word about you (i.e Beliebers).

This week, Nicki Minaj took her job as a celebrity to heart, fulfilling 5-year-old cancer patient Miyah’s wish of receiving a pink wig from the femcee.

In the various photos that Minaj posted of her and Miyah, it seems that Miyah couldn’t have been any more pleased with her Barbie encounter. But the “Super Bass” rapper isn’t the only star to play fairy godmother to a fan.

Stars like Beyonce, Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift are known for giving back and making their admirers’ dreams come true.

Check out our list of the top celebrity do-gooders and dream-makers:

Beyonce

Queen Bey is known for having a heart of gold. Last December, she posted a video to her YouTube page of herself with Taylon Davis, a 12-year-old girl with an inoperable brain tumor. Her one wish was to dance with Beyonce, and thanks to the Make-A-Wish foundation, her dream came true. The foundation hooked Taylon up with the Grammy-winning singer and they performed Destiny’s Child hit “Survivor” together at a show in Las Vegas.

Justin Bieber

Despite his rocky year, Justin Bieber broke the record in 2013 for the most wishes granted with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. His 200th wish was granted to 8-year-old Annalysha Brown-Rafanan, who was suffering from a life-threatening liver condition and wanted to meet the pop star. Bieber definitely knows how to break records in every arena.

Taylor Swift

The words ‘Good’ and ‘Deed’ are synonymous with Taylor Swift. The country crooner has been giving back to fans since the start of her career, but the most memorable wish-making moment goes to Swift and 8-year-old Delaney Brown. Brown was diagnosed with leukemia and her dying wish was to talk to Taylor Swift. Out of the kindness of her heart, Swift Face-timed with Brown just five days before her passing. Brown’s family reported that she lit up after seeing Swift’s face on-screen, and that they’ll cherish that moment forever.

Gisele Bundchen

The supermodel surprised 15-year-old Karina Xavier, who is battling bone cancer, with a visit and helped the young fashion blogger – also Bundchen’s fellow Brazilian native – with her website. Gisele posted the above photo:

“You are a warrior, an inspiration of positivity and courage,” Bundchen posted on her Instagram page. “I will be praying for you. Sending you love and light always.”

Katy Perry

Olivia Wise, whose cover of “Roar” went viral, was a huge fan of Katy Perry. Before her untimely death from brain cancer, Perry posted a video on YouTube to share her appreciation of the teen.

“I saw your video and I was very moved, and you sounded great for being in the studio and making it your wish to record that song,” she said.

Lady Gaga

Mother Monster loves all of her Little Monsters and will do anything to prove so. Late last year, Gaga pulled out of her February Chicago show, but after hearing from a local radio station that terminally ill 5-year-old Kayleigh Gurzynski had traveled from Wisconsin for the concert without knowing about its cancellation, Gaga set up a meeting with the young girl to make sure her wish came true.

Miley Cyrus

Before becoming infamous for twerking on Robin Thicke, Miley Cyrus was granting wishes. Back in 2012, 14-year-old Emily, who was diagnosed with a neurological disorder, made it her dying wish to meet Miley Cyrus. Cyrus did not hesitate to spend the day with Emily.

Selena Gomez

Seven-year old Ella, who was diagnosed with lymphoblastic leukemia, used to watch Selena Gomez on TV during her many trips to the hospital. Her wish was to meet the star one day, and that day came a lot sooner than Ella anticipated. Gomez came to visit Ella and they became fast friends as they played a game of “Kinect: Disneyland Adventures” together.

Vanessa Hudgens

Vanessa Hudgens is no stranger to giving back. The actress flew to Las Vegas on behalf of the Make-A-Wish Foundation to fulfill a wish for a terminally ill child. Hudgens, along with actress Brittany Snow, went to Sunrise Hospital to meet with 9-year-old Lexi D., who was hospitalized and suffering from a rare brain abnormality.

John Cena

WWE Heavyweight champion John Cena may be tied with Justin Bieber for granting the most wishes. When the WWE toured Australia in July 2013, one of John’s first missions was to make a little boy’s dream come true. Cena surprised a 10-year-old Australian boy who was diagnosed with a terminal illness. Cena arrived to the boy’s house and gifted him with tickets to the WWE tour. Talk about giving back!
