Comedy, sports, and drama fans can rejoice for this one, because Draft Day starring Kevin CostnerJennifer Garner, Terry Crews, and Arian Foster comes out this Friday.

The film tells the true story of the general manager of the Cleveland Browns, Sonny Weaver Jr. (played by Costner) and the team’s attempt at getting their number one draft pick.

GlobalGrind’s BlogXilla caught up with the film’s stars, who talked about their own love of sports. Costner also talked about his role in The Bodyguard with Whitney Houston and the cult effect it has had on his career.

He admits:

“I just thought Whitney was beautiful. I didn’t see what other people thought was a big, bold, move on my part.”

Garner, who plays a character named “Ali,” claims that while she loves sports, her knowledge can’t compare to her character’s. The Red Sox fan admits she only catches little details, since most of her time is now spent with her kids.

Former football player Terry Crews and Houston Texans running back Arian Foster also dished on how their parts in the film juxtaposed with their real-life football careers.
