Looks like Fat Joe and his former rival 50 Cent are making a return to the music game at the same time. Last night, Funkmaster Flex premiered Fat Joe’s Streetrunner-produced banger on Hot 97.
Teaming up with Bronx rapper French Montana, the bawse Rick Ross, and R&B singer Tiara Thomas, Fat Joe delivers a mellow street anthem, which features a sample of Queen Latifah’s 1993 classic “Just Another Day.”
“Just another day, living in the hood/ just another day, around the way/ feeling good today, hit another…but I’m here to stay,” sings Tiara.
No word on when Joey is planning to release a new project, but with this banger, we’re sure to get a new album from the Terror Squad frontman soon.
