Sorry, not sorry… but teenagers these days are actually the worst.
And we’re not just hating because they’ll always be younger than us, or they have parents that pay for them to do things and their biggest concern is the SAT — although it all makes adulthood look really depressing — but for those of us who spent our childhood/teenage years in the 80’s/90’s and reached adulthood in the aughts, these new teens are just bad news.
I mean…seriously. Where did we go wrong?
Here’s a starter list of why teenagers today are just… we can’t even… just… no.
Because…funeral selfies:
Because…must we reiterate that funeral selfies are highly inappropriate?
Because….hospital selfies 20 minutes after tragedy strikes:
Because…”My teacher is going into labor and suffering” selfies:
Because…cry selfies:
And even more embarrassing, pointless and attention seeking cry selfies…
Because…tasteless selfies in historic spaces:
Because…where there is a mirror, there is a selfie:
Because…all these selfies are causing lice:
Because…erasing your skin isn’t cute…
Because…Macklemore:
Because they think Miley Cyrus is original when there was once this lady named Madonna:
Because…One Direction:
Because…teens that think they’re cool because they don’t listen to One Direction:
Because…Rachel Canning:
Because some of the older one’s were born in the 90’s and are called 90’s babies and think 90’s clothes are totally vintage and they don’t understand that Alicia Silverstone was “HBIC” in a fictional high school before Regina George ever existed:
Because…these pictures with quotes that don’t correlate with the pictures are dumb:
Because they need to get their lives:
Because they are always wrong:
And know nothing about life pre-internet or Google:
And because…thugs:
