A couple from Pennsylvania just welcomed a brand new baby boy, who weighed in at 13 pounds, 8 and a half ounces!
The Delaware County Memorial Hospital said that the baby’s weight is the largest that the hospital has ever seen, and the couple named the big boy Waldo Bryer after “Where’s Waldo?”
The couple – Danielle and Brian Dwyer – told ABC News of their new bundle of joy:
“He had a little extra time in there to cook, to grow. It seems as though he is so peaceful,” said Danielle. When he came out, when the doctor pulled him out, on his shoulders, there were so many fat rolls you couldn’t tell where his armpits were,” said Brian Dwyer, dad.
Originally, Waldo was expected to arrive at 9-10 pounds, so his official weight after birth was a huge surprise to the couple and hospital staff.
Mr. Bryer is reportedly around 6’6″-6’7″, so this baby is definitely going to be pretty tall!
