What is it about May 5th?
For months, there were rumors that Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V was dropping on May 5th. Those rumors were eventually put to rest.
Then, there were whispers on these Inter-streets that Nicki Minaj was dropping her new album, The Pink Print, on May 5th. (Those rumors began when the rapper tweeted, “Cinco De Mayo.”)
Well, sorry to disappoint y’all Barbz, but the album ain’t coming out on the 5th.
Nicki revealed this when talking to Insider:
“My album is not dropping on May 5, hell no…My fans are once again thinking they know something that they really don’t.”
So no album on May 5th. But expect plenty of new Nicki: according to Rap-Up, Ms. Minaj is putting out a new song within the next two weeks.
