George Clooney, the man who many thought would never walk down the aisle, is reportedly engaged to his girlfriend, British human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin!
A source revealed to People Magazine that the 52-year-old legendary actor proposed to 36-year-old Amal not too long ago, but tried to keep things quiet and hasn’t started any wedding planning yet.
The source told the site:
“George and Amal are trying to keep things very low-key but they also aren’t really trying to hide this, it doesn’t seem. I think it’s like they want the people they love to know that this is real, that they plan on being together forever.”
Another sources said that they witnessed the couple going into LA restaurant, Craig’s, and they were celebrating the engagement with friends as Amal was sporting a “huge ring.”
George’s rep told the outlet:
“I don’t comment on my client’s personal life.”
If the reports are true, then congrats are definitely in order!
