Kim Kardashian never misses a chance to share a good throwback.
Yesterday the reality TV star took to Instagram to share an important moment in her life with her fans. The 33-year-old posted a photo of the day she and her soon-to-be spouse, Kanye West, sat down with Vogue’s Anna Wintour to discuss their cover shoot.
Kim captioned the epic Instagram pic:
“#TBT when Anna met North! Oh and told us about our Vogue shoot! #BestDayEver #Vogue #NorthOnlyPayingAttentionToHerDaddyTakingThePic”
The photo is believed to have been taken in November, five months before KimYe graced the magazine’s glossy cover.
Kim and Anna chatting over plates of food while North West looks off in the distance in the photo. Both Kim and Anna appear to be smiling and laughing, despite the fact that Anna is sitting with her arms folded and sporting sunglasses indoors (total faux pas, Mrs. Wintour!).
Kim and Kanye’s highly anticipated cover was not without controversy. Many expressed their disappointment with Vogue for featuring the fashion-forward family. Anna was quick to come to their defense, releasing a statement about her decision.
“Part of the pleasure of editing Vogue, one that lies in a long tradition of this magazine, is being able to feature those who define the culture at any given moment, who stir things up, whose presence in the world shapes the way it looks and influences the way we see it,” she said. “I think we can all agree on the fact that role is currently being played by Kim and Kanye to a T.”
We ain’t mad at you, Anna.
