Kid Ink’s thankful.

With the success of his Chris Brown-assisted single “Show Me,” Cali rapper Kid Ink releases an introspective new track titled, “Feels Good To Be Up.”

Teaming up with production team The Runners, “Feels Good To Be Up” was originally supposed to appear on Kid Ink’s My Own Lane LP.

“The moment is right/ Take time as I walk through the light/Look around ain’t nobody in sight/That do what I do/ I came from nothing at all/So tell me what can I lose/They tell me go hard or go home/In the city where I’m from/I’ma scream loud and proud/Tell there’s no air in my lungs/Man feels good to be up,” raps Kid Ink.

Kid Ink recently shared behind the scenes footage of his forthcoming music video “Main Chick (Remix),” which also features Chris Brown. Unfortunately, Chris Brown is currently sitting in jail awaiting a court hearing for a probation violation that occurred earlier this year.

Take a listen to Kid Ink’s grateful track down under.
