This is random as hell.

In an effort to promote her forthcoming album, Mariah Carey releases a very interesting collaboration called “Thirsty,” featuring Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan.

After releasing her single “You’re Mine (Eternal)” (which didn’t do well on Billboard), Mariah is following up with a hip-pop radio-friendly track.

“You’re thirsty for a dream, leaving me drowning,” sings Mariah. “Why you trying so damn hard? You’re thirsty,” she continues.

Don’t know how we really feel about MiMi’s latest collaboration, but let’s just say that random dudes and groupies may not be the only people thirsty to remain relevant.

Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse is scheduled to drop May 27, and will feature guest appearances by Trey Songz, Rich Homie Quan, Nas, Wale, and many more.
